Waipā Networks Business Awards – Celebrating professional success across the Waipa in 2025
The Cambridge Business Chamber is delighted to announce that the Waipa Networks Business Awards are back for 2025. Award entries open 1 November 2024.
These prestigious awards recognise the accomplishments, contributions, and diversity in the local business community across Waipā. They also acknowledge and celebrate the leaders and employees who propel them.
Chamber CEO Kelly Bouzaid is incredibly grateful to Waipa Networks and the suite of sponsors for their support, which enables us to elevate this event and provide a platform for our business community to shine.

The award categories aim to recognise Waipā businesses that excel in various areas, from community contribution and digital strategy to innovation, sustainability, people and culture and International business.
Waipā Networks’ chief executive, Sean Horgan, emphasised the importance of ongoing sponsorship of the awards and said the local business community has his team’s full backing.
“Our local business community have been doing it tough for a number of years, and this is one way we can champion their mahi and celebrate everything they do and have achieved.” he explained.
“It’s an absolute privilege to once again partner with the Cambridge Chamber to present the Waipā Business Awards, and I'm looking forward to the event early next year, which coincides with our 100-year anniversary celebrations."
“The previous awards held in April last year blew me away. It was inspiring to hear local stories of leadership, drive, and perseverance, and of innovation, strategic thinking, and adaptation to technology. There’s a huge amount of passion displayed by the entrants and award recipients, and we absolutely love going to these awards.
All entries received are judged by an independent judging panel of experienced industry professionals and the Waikato University representatives. Each are judged on their own merit across the range of award categories available.
